ABOUT US
Wem Sports and Social Club is a facility based at the Butler Sports Centre in Wem, North Shropshire and serves the needs of local community.
It has a busy members lounge which is a hub of activity at evenings and weekends and hosts members evenings with entertainment such as Karaoke and Tribute Acts.

There is a large function room which has a capacity of 130, and is available for both members and non-members to use. So no matter what type of event you are looking to book, we will be able to accommodate your needs.
The facility is home to 2 football teams, Wem Town and Shawbury United, as well as Wem Bowling Club, and is also the headquarters for Wem Hockey Club, who play their games in Whitchurch. It also hosts a Darts and Dominoes team.
We have a very comfortable Members Lounge which is for the use of all our Members and their guests.

The Club has an ample Car Park and is situated directly next door to Wem Swimming Pool which is well sign posted as soon as you enter Wem.

To become a Member it only take a couple of minutes and cost just £6 per year or £3.00 for concessions.
